No One Likes to Wander Around Aimlessly…

As a student in college,  What if could transport you into the future?

What if you could immediately realize all the success, impact, and legacy that you will have when you are 85.

Here's the catch... you can't undo it. You don't get to come back from being 85.

Would you do it?

It's an interesting question because the obvious answer is no. We wouldn't do it because we don't want to miss out on experiencing our life. Yet…

…how often are we making decisions in our current life based on success, impact, and legacy? We desperately want to microwave success. We want success from the end of life now!

Here is the irony... focusing on success and impact as a young leader will likely cause you to get distracted from the right trajectory that results in success, impact, and legacy.

This has been true in my life. Here is a story…

In college, I decided that I wanted to do something that allowed me to impact other college students and mentor them.

But I also wanted to have a certain status as a professional. With this in mind, I began to focus on a trajectory that was about me, accumulating knowledge, status, and accomplishments.

I then sprinkled mentoring on the side.

This subtle course correction blew me off course for a number of years in my mid 20's. years I can't get back now...

If you aren't careful you can easily get blown off the course of long-term impact, fruitfulness, and legacy.

This is why you need a roadmap.

It's one thing to know where we want to go (legacy). It's a whole different thing to know how to get there.

It's our goal to help give you that road map. Let's start with the big checkpoints...

Lead Yourself

Lead Others

Lead Leaders

Lead Movements

Between each of those checkpoints are a series of other markers that will help you navigate to the next one.

By following this roadmap, our goal is to help you make subtle course corrections throughout life.

By doing so, you can arrive at the life God has called you to, invest in others, and make an eternal impact.

All while getting to walk with God and experience the journey with Him in the process.

Next time, I'll dive deeper into the path and share more about how it works to get you to each checkpoint.

By doing so, you can arrive at the life God has called you to, invest in others, and make an eternal impact.

All while getting to walk with God and experience the journey with Him in the process.
